Unique opportunity for volunteers who want to teach Buddhist novices and learn about Buddhism while staying at  our Center in Nong Khai!

Age 13 – 18 Nong Khai, northeast Thailand (Isan)

Located in the center of Nong Khai, this large and famous Buddhist temple school draws students from poor families in Nong Khai and other provinces. While there are fees for public schools (uniforms, etc.) students attend temple schools for free. The students are called “novices”. The Temple School offers a great opportunity for the volunteer interested in Buddhism and also to see how poor teenage boys can get a chance to study.
