How about teaching an ethnically diverse group of students on an island facing the stunning Phang Nga Bay? Here’s your chance!
Age 7 - 12, in Phuket, south Thailand
On Sireh Island you’ll have a unique opportunity to work with students from a wide variety of backgrounds: Moken (“sea gypsies,” one of the first groups to settle on Phuket Island) and Muslim as well as Thai Buddhists from provinces as far away as Nong Khai! Few Westerners visit the island so you’ll experience local culture just a short distance from Phuket City, just across a short bridge to the west. Volunteers teach English and/or computers.
