A unique opportunity for the volunteer who wants to help and experience life at an orphan home as well as a school in Nepal while staying with a host family getting immersed in Nepalese culture.
HUC-Nepal was established in 2003 and is a home for helpless children who lost their parents from natural disasters and the armed conflicts. There are around ten children between 1 and 15 in the orphan home. HUC-Nepal develops an environment where children can live without discrimination. The focus is to provide basic needs, healthcare, education and protection, to help them become good citizens and develop career skills in a caring environment.
