Why pay $60-90/€50-75 per day—the rates many European and US travel and volunteer organizations charge—when you can pay $22/€17 per day with Openmind Projects in Thailand for a two month period?
Your entire fee goes towards supporting our grassroots projects in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Nepal as well as our overseas volunteers, not to any administration, office, promotion or other costs overseas.
Our Volunteer With Support option is a real bargain! $22/€17 is about 680 Thai baht. As an independent volunteer a room in a guesthouse in Thailand would cost you 400-700 Baht per day and would not include the volunteer placement/project, meals, volunteer support, handbooks or training you get with our Volunteer With Support Option!

Teach English in a village by the Mekong River in Thailand
In this small village located on the bank of the Mekong River, our volunteers work in the local kindergarten and school. Since it caters to the poorest families in the area this is a place where our volunteers can make a big difference!
Volunteer at our Training Center in Thailand by the Mekong River

Teach English in South Thailand
Teach English on an island at a Muslim school. This charming island is just a short boat ride from Krabi but is a world away and remains unknown to most tourists. For volunteers that want to experience authentic island and fishing village life!
Volunteer in an Orphanage in Nepal
Assist the staff providing for the children and teach at the nearby Creation School. This small orphanage in Kathmandu, Nepal, houses about ten orphan children at any given time. One of the many Child and Health Care projects we support.
Health Care and Volunteer with children in Thailand
This small community hospital in northeast Thailand treats villagers with minor health problems. Depending on your experience you can assist the staff directly during their work or help them improve their English. Openmind Projects started 10 years ago in Thailand as a grass roots education project because many people there lack the resources they need to improve their lives. Together with you we now can provide free training, educational and computer support to schools, villages, orphan homes, national parks, and other projects in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Nepal with our innovative volunteer and learning ideas.
